Devastated villages....Crowded roadsides..Scary peoples and crying kids.......This was the scenario at the poorest country of the western hemisphere when it was hit tremendously by the sunken earthquake killing around 2,30000 people on the unauspicious 12th day of january.......Everywhere there was the smoke of tears..depression..loud scary voices..Tall buildings were collapsing like a melted ice cream....People were running here and there crying for help....
Haiti is already hobbled with poverty..natural calamities and politics. It is the poorest and one of the most densely populated country of the western hemisphere.....
On 12 january at about 4:43 pm haitians were busy with their daily routine work..it was a bright sunny day...everybody was involved in some or other work but to their surprise the world began to shake....Earth was trembling like a leaf.....and within 35 seconds everything was lost......earth seemed to be upside down....Nothing was left except cries..shouts...and devastated HAITI.......It was only the matter of few seconds but the life of Haitians was changed completely forever.... There screwed life had now no ends.....Lakhs of people lost their lives and the survivors were totally shattered and restless....They were speechless....In the nights following the earthquake, many people in Haiti slept in the streets, on pavements, in their cars, or in makeshift shanty towns either because their houses had been destroyed, or they feared standing structures would not withstand aftershocks....They were uncertain about there lives...
News was spreading like a fire all round the world...millions of people got united to pray for the departed souls as well as survivors ....With teary eyes they were trying their level best to provide aid to the Haitians...Charity shows....prayer meets....song performances....aids all were scheduled regularly to help those poor peoples build their dreams again....No matter whether it is a celebrity or a common man all were together to comfort them....Communication systems, air, land, and sea transport facilities, hospitals, and electrical networks had been damaged by the earthquake, which hampered rescue and aid efforts initially; confusion over who was in charge, air traffic congestion, and problems with prioritisation of flights further complicated early relief work.Rescue efforts began in the immediate aftermath of the earthquake, with able-bodied survivors extricating the living and the dead from the rubble of the many buildings which had collapsed, but treatment of the injured was hampered by the lack of hospital and morgue facilities...yet everyone was firm to find their way out...... to start a new life....to gather all the courage and start afresh..
.....Lets pray for the Haitians.....
