These lines are from one of the best Indian movie "3 IDIOTS"..This movie is based on the the young generation of today which is totally entangled between its life..aim...career..aspiration.....excess pressure of the parents' wishes and their expectations.
Yes it is a bitter truth....Today's generation is completely overburdened by the aspirations and dreams of themselves as well as their parents...they are completely lost between their fast moving life.
Gone are those days when a little girl of 8-9 yrs is holding a doll in her hand busy in making her ready for her marriage ceremony with another toy. Now a girl of same age(8-9yrs) is busy with her books...school debates...online exams....results....She has no time to play with dolls ....to play video games....
Every morning they have to get ready for school with a 10 Kg weight on their backs in the form of school bags.
Those muds...those clay models....those beautiful dolls and those amazing toys are all now becoming a part of big shelves of study rooms of the kids...Their bed is enveloped with files..assignments....pens etc.They have to study till late night and have to leave the bed early in the morning so that they can be on time..
The whole naughty childhood is a dream now...those nursery rhymes...those little friends....those broken toys...and those lost pencils are no more a part of this competitive age..........they are all in those dreamy eyes.....and now a part of unfulfilled dreams.....
